Psalms 3–4

Psalms 3 and 4 are prayers of David expressing trust in God during times of distress and danger, particularly when fleeing from his son Absalom's rebellion.

Psalm 3 focuses on David's plea for deliverance amid enemies who threaten him with a large army. David affirms that God is his shield and protector, lifting his head in honor despite his dire circumstances.
